We recently received an amazing letter from one of our recent dog guests that we thought was too good not to share!
Hi pups
So your pawrents are thinking about taking you on this camping thing? Let me tell you what it’s all about.
They shoved me in the car with all this stuff packed around me….so much stuff! I knew we must be going somewhere different but why all the stuff?!
We drove for forever, but boy was it worth it. We pulled up to what they call a ‘farm’ and there were so many new smells!!! I couldn’t take it all in. A nice lady called Pip said I was lovely but we all already know that. Then after she and mum talked for forever and we were off again! We went through some big gates and then I saw the lake and the geese!! I knew straight away I wanted to boop one but dad said no. They always say no to the good stuff! But I know the geeses are my best friends in the whole world now.
I got to sniff around on my long lead for a while which was amazing, I saw cows and horses and a donkey! They are all my best friends in the whole world now.
Mum and dad had made a weird house from some sheets and poles and said that we live there now. I ate my tea there so I guessed it was true.
We went to the onsite dog field to stretch our legs and we all played frisbee. It was all fenced in so I was safe and couldn’t go missing. Then some other pawrents asked if their pups could play. That’s when I met Bailey and Ollie. They’re my best friends in the whole world now.
At night we slept in the funny house. There were different noises outside but I knew I was safe in the sheet house.
In the day times we went walking in the woods and explored caves and a river. That’s where I met Hector and Arlo. They’re my best friends in the whole world now.
We went to pubs and even canoeing (we fell in and I had to swim) but we always went back to the weird sheet house and the lovely dog field. Then in the evening we would all sit outside and I’d snooze while mum and dad played games. I occasionally shouted silly things at Bailey and Ollie but that got me in trouble.
I was sad when we left the funny sheet house but dad promised we’ll be back.
I’m back home with my cats Doug and Wheels now. They’re my best friends in the whole world.
