Shepherds Rest was beautiful inside and out. High quality furnishings and fittings and real attention to detail with 5*quality bedding, pillows, towels, etc. You could really tell how much love and care Pip has put into making Shepherds Rest so homely and comfortable. Pip was a great host: welcoming and on hand for any questions or a friendly chat. The view from inside and outside Shepherds Rest, overlooking the lake was so relaxing and being an adult only camp site it was very peaceful. We enjoyed an afternoon swim in the lake at a very reasonable price, which was so reinvigorating before jumping in the lovely hot tub. We will definitely be visiting again, thank you Pip!
