Relaxing break 
Wonderfully warm welcome from Pip. Site is beautiful and peaceful. Toilet/shower block was immaculate. We were located right at the bottom in a lovely spot but worth mentioning that may be an issue for those less mobile to walk up the little incline to the facilities, so best to ask for a pitch closer when booking. But for us it was no problem at all. The dog field is a fantastic addition and our little chap loved it and our nightly dusk walk was enhanced by watching the bats. This site is an absolute gem, made perfect by such a friendly and helpful owner. Highly recommend.
Gorgeous campsite in beautiful quiet location. The facilities are always immaculately clean, as is the whole site. Pip the owner could not be any more friendly or helpful. We had an issue with our caravan and she helped find the part we needed and called the supplier then printed instructions on how to get there. Absolutely 5⭐️ service. Will definitely be back!
Really lovely site. Owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The facilities were modern and very well kept. Area is also beautiful, we hope to come back in better weather!
Beautiful Campsite – Always the warmest of welcomes from the site owner, Pip. Facilities are immaculately clean . Beautiful site where you can relax peacefully, making memories under the stars. The views here are outstanding and Pip is extremely accommodating making sure you have the best stay. Will definitely be back.
Although it was a wet valentine’s weekend for us, we weren’t short of things to do locally. The views to us were enough just to sit, clear our heads, breath in fresh air and switch off to our busy life. To engage with nature, hearing the cattle was just awesome. Facilities was spotless. We shall be back soon. We’ve come back refreshed, happy, and raring to face the world again.
Beautiful shepherds hut across a pond from a campsite. Parking next to a neighbouring caravan with a short walk to the hut. Easy to find using Sat nav. Beautiful and new inside the hut. Very very warm with the underfloor heating – delightful in the colder weather. We loved seeing the frogs, fish and ducks/geese on the pond. Fantastic inclusion of a microwave, air fryer and even a hairdryer.
we enjoyed our stay on the lake. the hut was beautiful, clean and very cosy. the host was great at communicating with us as soon as we booked our trip and the check in instructions were simple and easy to follow. if you are looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside then this place is for you. thank you for having us and we will be back
